Show West BtfiL The officers and teachers of the 'West Bountiful Second Ward AP and Young Ladies had a fun time at their Christmas Party, held at the Chandelier Reception Center. Entertainment featured the Onion Street Singers, Cathy Baker, Diane Smith, Ruth Handley, Lucile Eastman, Sharon Salmon, Claudette Hall, accompanied by Ellen Call. The Onion Street Singers have been busy singing at Relief Societies throughout the area. This week they were happy to sing at the Church office building, for the Distribution Dis-tribution Center. The William Groves have been having a bad week as they have bad colds and the flu, as well as have been grieving with their grandparents, grand-parents, Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Ken-neth Rudd, of Granger. They, the parents of Camille, had their house, located out in Granger, bumed down Saturday. Satur-day. The last year Mia Maids of the Second Ward enjoyed a trip to the Genealogical Bureau in Salt Lake City, according ac-cording to their president Denise Ashby. The Evan Ashby family had a most rewarding experience as they traveled to Salt Lake City to sing at the Primary Children's Hospital. Sherrie Johnson has been finding much satisfaction as she has given her book review of "Two From Galilee" on several occasions. This week Byron Ranck's Sunday School class had the privilege of hearing this beautiful story. Illustrations were made by Rosemary Musig. Jolene Stevens is on cloud more than 9 since she found out that she has been accepted accept-ed at BYU for next year. Last Saturday she had her piano students assemble at her home for an extraordinary experience. They all came prepared to play Christmas songs for her. Former West Bountifulite Bob Arbuckle and wife (the sister of Betty Jean Salmon) were happy to join the wedding wed-ding festivities of their son Alan W. Arbuckle this week as he was married to Karlynne Keiser, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Alma L. Keiser. They were married in the Salt Lake Temple on Tuesday and were honored at a reception in the Heritage House on Highland Drive that evening. Craig Salmon, serving a mission to South Dakota was surprised to be transferred to the mission home in Rapid City, to serve as public relations rela-tions man and as record man. |
