Show K7si? mm By ALICE MITCHELL 295-1156 Everyone is dreaming-of a white Christmas, for one thing. This week there was snow. Snow in the mountains for the skiers and for filling reservoirs, and snow in the valley. There was some snow inside in-side at the West Bountiful Second Ward Christmas party last week. As the bishopric, Carl Johnson, Wan less South-wick, South-wick, and Woodie Musig, sang "I'm Dreaming of a White Christmas," they were deluged with falling snow, which was picked up by "clowns" Jerry Stout and Danny Broderick, wheelbarrow wheel-barrow and everything. The program starred the group called Cambridge, which included Jerry All man and his wife Lisa, relative newcomers to West Bountiful. Boun-tiful. They included a piano, drums, a guitar and Lisa on the saxophone, as well as five singers. Jerry made a most convincing cowboy, with a fascinating bass voice. The Eugene Salmons are dreaming-of a grandson, but they are happy to report that they now have a baby granddaughter, grand-daughter, born to daughter Shelley and Russell Mills, of Sunnyview. Other grandparents, grand-parents, the Ivo Mills of Centerville, Cen-terville, are happy with the new arrival, as are Aunt Sherrie Johnson and family. The David Monsons are dreamingof many more grandchildren. This week they had their first grandson, born to son David and wife Beverly, of Salt Lake City. The Monsons have been busy during the past weeks. They have celebrated the birthday of daughter Carla, with the family all together, Stacy, David and wife, and Kathy and Clare, all visiting. j Grandma Mercer of Salt Lake City, also attended. Dave and Jedda were delighted to attend the performance per-formance of the Utah Symphony and the Utah Choral. Stacy's friend, Greg Butler, from San Jose has been staying with the family to drink in the atmosphere of the area. ! We hope that Mrs. Shirley Secrist is soon much recovered from her illness and weekend hospitalization. |
