Show Alvin Ashby Rites Held 1 ALVIN JORDAN ASHBY Alvin Jordan Ashby, age 78, died Nov. 13, 1979 in a local care center of natural causes. HE WAS born Aug. 6. 1901 in Taylorsville, Utah to Briant and Lydia Jordan Ashby. He married Edna Aamodt Nov. 14, 1951 in the Manti LDS Temple. He lived in Wesi Bountiful and Bountiful and was a farmer most of his life. He was a High Priest in the Bountiful 41st Ward; served in the YMMIA as a secretary and worked and served in the Seventies and High Priest groups. SURVIVORS ARE his wife of Bountiful; brothers," Chester of Clearfield; sisters, Vera Owens, Salt Lake City; Aita Ashby, Murray; Genieve Boyington, Magna, and Louise Jennings of Flint, Mich. Funeral services were held Thursday in the Russon Brothers Bountiful Mortuary Chapel. Interment was in the Salt Lake City Cemetery.. |
