Show No Overnight Parking On West Btfl. Streets By ALICE MITCHELL The West Bountiful City Council met last Tuesday night at city hall to canvass the votes of the Nov. 6, 1979 election. Mayor Grant H. Secrist was ill, so was unable to attend. Recorder Beverly Haslam conducted the canvassing can-vassing of the voles. AFTER PERUSING the tallies, the council voted unanimously to accept the vote totals as correct. Gary Edmonds, 402; Sam Allman, 400; Lynn Kenison, 301; were declared the official votes winners of the election city councilmen race. Judges of the election were; Afton Ricks, Julius Shepherd, Cathetine Gibson, Ruth Handley, Jewel Buys, Terri Slater, Elon Woddison, Dixie Mitchell and Jean Curtis. CITIZENS OF West Bountiful Boun-tiful and others are reminded that it is against city ordinance or-dinance to park vehicles on the city streets between the hours of 12 midnight and 6 a.m. during the winter months. This is to facilitate the work of snow plowing during the nights and early mornings. Police Chief Jack Hanham and the city officials reminded remind-ed that those who violate the above ordinance will be ticketed. Their vehicles may also run the risk of being damaged by the snow plow or by rocks which are thrown up during the snow plowing. |
