A prominent society wedding of yes- vJJtcrday, that of Miss Lima Darling and Albert Bernhardt Fisher, was hastened because of the fact that the bridegroom has enlisted in the officers' reserve corps and expects to be called into service within a few months. The ceremony was a simple one at the home of the brtde 's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Elmer E. Darling, 1031 First avenue, at 1:30 o'clock, in the presence only of relatives. The impressive marriage mar-riage service was read by Dr. Elmer I. Goshen of the . First Congregational church.' Mrs. Edward McGurrin, harpist, harp-ist, accompanied by cello and violin, played the wedding music. The bride wore a white net gown with a white picture hat and carried a shower bouquet of white roses and lilies of the valley. She was attended by hej sister, Mrs. Dale Langwell Smith, as matron of honor. Mrs. Smith wore pink georgette crepe with a pink net picture hat and carried pink roses. Frank Fisher, brother of the bridegroom, bride-groom, was best man. The couple left immediately after the ceremony for a trip to Chicago and on the Great Lakes. Commencement Com-mencement exercises will be held at Rowland Hall this week, at Westminster college and the high schools of the city. The University Univers-ity of 1'tah commencement exercises were last week. Commencement festivities festivi-ties have been limited this year on account ac-count of so many of the boys in the coeducational co-educational institutions enlisting in the army. Social events in connection with the commencement at Rowland Hall this week will be the senior play at Whitney hall to be followed by a reception at Rowland Hall Monday evening. The proceeds from the play will be devoted to the Reil Cross. Tuesday will be junior day at the hall, with an exhibition exhibi-tion of the work of the Domestic Science Sci-ence department, and tea from 4 until fi o'clock Tuesday afternoon. On Wednesday the commencement exercises at St. Mark 's cathedral, with an address by Bishop Touret of western Colorado, will be preceded by the annual senior breakfast at 8 o'clock at t lie hall. First prize, a handsome cut-glass fruit bowl, was won by Mrs. Chris Ha Her: second prize, h beautiful cut-glass candy dish, was won by Mrs. George Wilkinson. All present declared this to have been one of the nicest affairs of the season. Mrs. Joseph Knauf will remain on- month in the district, visiting with friends, and then leave for hr home in Michigan.
