GARY ROBERTS Vows Said by Sandra Evans, Gary Roberts Miss Sandra Evans of this city ci-ty and Mr. Gary Roberts, formerly former-ly of Beaver, were united in marriage mar-riage in a wedding ceremony which took place Saturday evening, eve-ning, Nov. 25 in the Relief Society So-ciety rooms of the Parowan First-Second First-Second Ward church. Bishop Charles H. Gurr officiated officiat-ed in the double-ring rites in the presence of immediate members of the two families. The bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Farris Evans of Parowan and the bridegroom is a son of Mrs. Louise Lou-ise Roberts of Beaver. Following the ceremony the newlyweds greeted guests at a reception In their honor, held at the same place. For her wedding the bride selected a f loor length gown of delustered satin and alencona lace. Her elbow length veil cascaded from a tiara of seed pearls and she carried a bouquet of yellow rosebuds. Mrs. Genlel Roberts was matron mat-ron of honor, and bridesmaids were Lola Ann Poardman, Winon Holyoak, and Lois Ann Butcher. Sheila Evans and Pamela Dalton were flower girls with petite Gail Evans and Moana Lei Adams serving as ring bearers. Color theme for the wedding and reception was fall with all members of the wedding party wearing varied fall colors, with a beautiful arch of yellow sweet peas and autumn shades of chrysanthemums. Yellow chrysanthemum chrys-anthemum formed the bouquets of the bridesmaids and baskets of the flower girls. Ronnie Roberts stood as best man for his brother Gary, while Kent Burch and Carl Parkinson were ushers. After a short honeymoon to Las Vegas, Nev. the newlyweds will make their home in Parowan. Paro-wan. Max Dalley was master of ceremonies cer-emonies for a brief program during dur-ing the event consisting of two songs by Jerry l Robinson and Phebe Bergstrom; guitar duuts by Steve Mackelprang and Mrs. Mike Lamoreaux and a musical reading by Jean Hendrickson accompanied ac-companied by Mary Lyman. Barbara Bar-bara Jane Batt was at the piano for music during the evening. |
