Show Marianne Campbell Will Wed In Salt Lake Temple Mr. and Mrs. Glen Campbell of Salt Lake City, formerly of! Cedar City, announce the mar-! riage of their daughter, Marianne, Mari-anne, to Jerold Walker Farns-' worth, son of Dr. and Mrs. Reed W. Farnsworth of Cedar City. They will be married in the Salt Lake LDS Temple on Dec. 22 with a reception on Dec. 26 at the LDS Institute of Religion in Cedar City. Attending the bride will be Mrs. LaVar Short, a sister, as matron of honor. Other attendants attend-ants will be Mrs. James T. Judd and Mrs. Jerald K. Lee of Los Angeles, Calif; and Miss Joan Farnswonh of Cedar City; Mrs. Edward Thackston of Maryland and Mrs. Richard Campbell of Carson City, Nev. Flower girls will be the Misses Miss-es Debra and Tamra Short with Ken Farnsworth, brother of the bridegroom, to perform duties of best man. Both are 1957 graduates of the Cedar City High School, Jerry was president of the Key Club and active in athletics. Marianne attended both Utah State University and the University Univer-sity of Utah. She is a 1961 graduate grad-uate of the U of U with a major in elementary education and child development. While at the U she served as treasurer of her sorority. Delta Gamma, was a member of Omicron Nu honorary sorority, a member of Spurs and Cwear, au aquamaid, president of the Home Economics Club, and a member of the marching and concert band. Upon graduation gradua-tion she received scholastic honors hon-ors and also the Leah D. Widtsoe Award for outstanding contributions contribu-tions made In home economics. Jerry has Just returned from an LDS mission to southern Australia Aus-tralia and has spent the past month visiting some of the principal prin-cipal cities of the Orient including includ-ing Singapore, Bankok, Shanghai, Shang-hai, Manilla, Hong Kong, Tokyo and Honolulu. He has completed two yea.-s of study at the U of U where he was an officer and a member of Sigma Phi Epsilon fraternity. Following the marriage Jerry will continue his studies at the U, enrolling winter quarter. Marianne Mar-ianne Is presently teaching In the Granite School District. '- v..
