DOUG McGEE Exchange Vows Karen Kay Kalsem, Farmington, Farm-ington, was married to Doug McGee, Farmington, April 16, 1981, in rites performed at the LDS Salt Lake City Temple. THE BRIDE is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Cliff Weld., South Bend, Indiana, and Mr. Burnis Kalsem, Huxley, Iowa. The parents of the groom are Mr. and Mrs. Alan McGee, Farmington. Mr. and Mrs. Alan McGee hosted a brunch at their home following the wedding ceremony. cere-mony. A reception honored the couple that evening in the Farmington Sixth Ward on Compton Road. il THE BRIDE selected a tra-' i ditional wedding gown of satin 1 with lace yoke, wide cuffs on I the long sleeves and a lace ruf fle on the skirt and around the long train. Her illusion finger tip length veil was caught in a lace cap. The bride's bouquet was red roses with daisies and tied with long velvet streamers. Mrs. Christopher (Holly) Zoltz served as matron of honor hon-or and bridesmaids were Linda McGee, sister of the groom, Cheryl Johnson, a cousin, and Marcia Manwill, a friend. MRS. ZOLTZ and Miss McGee chose street length gowns of brown print with long sleeves. Miss Johnson and Miss Manwill selected tan print dresses and each attendant atten-dant carried a bouquet of daisies and orange baby breath. The groom's mother chose a street length dress of peach satin and her corsage was daisies. ALISON JOHNSON was' flower girl and carried a basket of daisies. Wayne Ferrin performed the duties of best man and ushers were Doug Kirkham, Jeff Hicks and Chris Zoltz. THE NEW Mr. and Mrs. McGee honeymooned in southern Utah and are living in Farmington. Mr. McGee served an LDS Mission to Albuquerque, New Mexico. HOLLY ZOLTZ hosted a bridal shower at her home in Clearfield before the wedding. The bride attended high school in South Bend, Indiana and the groom graduated from Davis High School and attends WSC. MR. BL'RNIS Kalsem came from Huxley, Iowa for his daughter's wedding. |
