Show GAS AND OIL BUSINESS MS INCREASED Over Two and a Half Million Gallons Gasoline Handled in Logan District Dis-trict by Utah Oil Utah Oil Refining Company has had a very satisfactory business (luring the past season, according to the report of A. G. Olofson, manager of the Logan division. Over two and a half million gallons gal-lons of gasoline has been sold in this territory by the retail stations sta-tions and the local distribution plant. Seventy percent of this business went through the thirty two service stations that are owned and operated by the Utah Oil Refining Company interests. Two new stations have been added by the company in this territory ter-ritory this season. One was at Afton, Wyoming and the other was at Penrose in Boxelder county. There has been considerable improvement im-provement made in certain stations. sta-tions. Additions have been made at the Malad station and the station sta-tion cn Third North and Main street in this city which is operated operat-ed by Moses Olsen. During the coming season an extensive program will be carried out in making super-stations out of a large number of stations where only gas and oil is now handled. After the first of the year, a change in the organization of the Logan division will take place. J. H. Taylor will at that time become be-come station supervisor and have general supervision of all the stations sta-tions in this division. Many of the stations will be stocked with the Atlas line of automobile accessories. Most of the stations at present have a stock of tires and batteries. Mr. Olofson Olof-son has a good word for the Atlas line. It seems to be filling the needs of the public. Along with Pep 88 gasoline and Vico oils, the company has a good setup in the general run of service and neces-sories neces-sories for motor vehicles. |
