The LaVerkin Centennial Arch, made expressly for this purpose was on display for all to see. This arch consists of the pictures of every member of the LaVerkin Relief Society, with every group of Relief Society presidencies, and every bishopric group since the ward was organized, also the present pres-ent stake Relief Society officers. This arch is the work of Mrs. Mae Gubler, who is both ward and stake coordinator. She has put a lot of effort into the final achieving achiev-ing of the completed arch, and has received a great deal of just praise for the finished work. The LaVerkin ward has every married woman in the ward enrolled, en-rolled, and one single girl. This is a record no other ward in Zion Park stake can boast of at the present time. The remainder of the program was spent in dancing and eating the fine plate luncheon served by the refreshment committee. Mrs. Vida Duncan was in charge of the pageant and music; Geneva Segler, Isabel DeMille and Cleone Iverson were in charge of refreshments. |
