Show AAA Phosphate Not To Be Available This Season Word that the AAA superphosphate superphos-phate ordered for local cooperators would not reach the county in time for application this spring was received in the county AAA office, Monday, March 17th. This phosphate was to have been shipped from the International Interna-tional Minerals and Chemical corporation. The following quotation quota-tion from a letter written to the state office by N. E. Dodd, west-tern west-tern division director, explains the heretofore unaccounted for delay: "This company has been unable for the last three months to get the supply of sulphuric acid for which they have contracted and it has been impossible, therefore, to fulfill their production schedule and to ship the material in accordance ac-cordance with previous commitments. commit-ments. "In a letter dated March 5th, the contractor for the International Interna-tional Minerals and Chemical corporation cor-poration says that that the situation situa-tion has improved and that he is getting larger quantities of sulphuric sul-phuric acid than heretofore." In the letter we were assured that our orders would receive preferred pre-ferred handling but it is thought unwise by this office for cooperators cooper-ators to delay longer in obtaining from other sources the phosphate they wish to apply this spring. |
