Show Civilian Defense Council Formed In Hurricane District Saturday Night Civilian Defense organizations were formed in Hurricane, Virgin and Toquerville at a meeting held in Hurricane last Saturday night, reports Andrew B. Pace, county Civilian Defense Council chairman. Similar organizations are to be set up in the other sections of the county in the near future. Toquerville is the first to respond res-pond with a complete organization organiza-tion states Mr. Pace. Their board is listed as follows: Planning division, Robert Dean, chairman; protection division, Ben Bringhurst, chairman ; necessities division, Louis Naegle, chairman; public utilities division, Charles H. Hamilton, chairman; communication communica-tion division, Lawrence Kleinman, chairman. Similar meetings to the one held in Hurricane will be held throughout the county. The county coun-ty has been divided into six districts dis-tricts as follows: District Number One Ivins, Santa Clara, St. George, Washington Washing-ton and Leeds. ' District Number Two Gunlock, Veyo, Central and Pine Valley. District Number Three Enterprise. Enter-prise. District Number Four New Harmony. District Number Five Hurricane, Hurri-cane, LaVerkin, Toquerville and Virgin. District Number Six Rockville and Springdale. Each district will be notified when the organization time will be held and where. Mr. Pace states that his committee com-mittee is asking that the heads of each community contact him at once so that a meeting for each section can be outlined in the immediate future. |
