Show ENTERPRISE Mrs. Theresa Huntsman Reporter Mr. and Mrs. Ben Swapp from Kanab attended the farewell party here Wednesday night for Elbern Sagers. They were guests of Mr. and Mrs. Amos F. Terry while here. Mrs. Alvin A. Jones is home from the Iron county hospital where she was for several days for treatment. Mrs. Roxie J. Terry of St. George spent several days here visiting with her son, Marion Terry, and family. Marion Basset, Bal Basset and Betty Ashdown spent the week end here from Santa Monica. A large crowd from here attended at-tended stake conference in Panaca on Sunday. The Relief Society celebrated its 100th birthday anniversary here Tuesday. At 7 p. m., all married people of the community were invited in-vited to a program and luncheon at the gymnasium. After the luncheon, lun-cheon, old-style dancing was enjoyed en-joyed until 9 p. m., when the young people joined the affair and a regular dance was enjoyed. Along with the party a bazaar consiting of articles furnished by members of the society were on display and were sold. The com-1 mittee for this affair were Fae Barlocker, Nellie Moyle, Belle Holt, Wellie Clove and Dorothy Truman! Mr. and Mrs. William J. Lund have returned home from Los Angeles where they have been for a ten-day vacation. |
