Show (( .iiininuiiii I BOUNTIFUL The City Council approved concrete work for Bountiful projects giving the low bid of $146,122.50 to JMR Construction. Con-struction. The work includes curb and gutter and sidewalk repairs and some of the citizens will pay part of the costs on a volunteer basis as contracted with the city. BOUNTIFUL The City Council OK'd preliminary plans for the Sterling Heights Subdivision located at 200 West and 3700 South. The 28-lot subdivision is located near the Hooper Canyon detention basin that was constructed by the David County Flood Control and was the road leading to the new subdivision. City Engineer Jack Balling said the developers had met all of the requirements re-quirements necessary to obtain preliminary approval. The Bountiful Boun-tiful Planning and Zoning Commis- sion has also given the new subdivision subdivi-sion its blessing. BOUNTIFUL The City Council approved the sale of property prop-erty along Davis Boulevard and MiUbrook Way for $30,000. The parcel that is about .4 of an acre had been appraised at $30,000. The parcel had been up for public bid for a couple of years. Tom Hardy, Har-dy, city manager, said that a few months ago, a private bidder had offered Bountiful $20,000 for the property, but the council rejected that bid because it was below the appraised value. BOUNTIFUL The City Council approved the transfer of a class B beer license and liquor consumption con-sumption license for Robintino's from its old location at 370 W. 500 South to the new location at 1385 S. 500 West The licenses were approved by a vote of 4-0, with Councilman Robert Gramoll absent. |
