Show Karl B. Adamson BOUNTIFUL Karl Blaine Adamson, 67, died June 14, 1 99 1 , in a local care center of causes incident to age. He was born April 15, 1924 at Highland, Utah, the son of David H. and Jessie Dianthia Myers Adamson. He married mar-ried Mary Neves Aug. 28, 1946 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. V It" 1 with his wife Mary. They served the Southeast Asian people there. Karl is survived by his wife Mary; six children, Ron Adamson and wife Rose, Idaho Falls, Idaho; Doug Adamson and wife Patty, Corcoran, Calif.; Kathleen Johnson and husband Vanner of North Salt Lake; Mary Ann Binks and husband Craig of West Valley City; Jay Adamson and wife Karen, West Jordan; Rob Adamson, Bountiful; and 30 grandchildren. Also surviving are five brothers and three sisters, Nida Hall, Alta Nash, Mark Adamson, Legrand Adamson, Clyde Adamson, Virgil Adamson, and Keith Adamson, all of American Fork; Afton Jacob, Orem. He was preceded in death by his parents, two grandsons, Troy Karl Adamson and Colby Binks, and one brother Arnold Adamson. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, Tues-day, June 1 8 at 11 a.m. at the Orchard 12th LDS Ward, 3707 S. 800 W., Bountiful. Friends may call Tuesday at the church from 9:45-10:45 a.m. Interment in the American Fork City Cemetery, 2 p.m. He graduated from American Fork High School and from LDS Seminary. Sem-inary. Was a veteran of World War II, serving in Guadalcanal and Guam. Was- an active member of the LDS Church, having served in many callings call-ings throughout his life. He was a baker for many years. Worked with Union, and Mark Brown Furniture, and served as a lab technician and an inspector for the Utah Department of Highways for 27 years, retiring in 1987. Filled a mission to the Santa Rosa, Calif. Mission, serving in Fair- field-Suisun, Calif, the entire time |
