V u L v 1 f i - hi Picketing the bank An ongoing controversy between a long-time customer and Boun-tiful's Boun-tiful's Valley Bank has escalated to picketing. Morris Gailey claims his troubles began when he failed to count the money he received when he recently cashed a check. He said he took the envelope of cash to a HUD Home bid. When he learned he did not get the home, Gailey claims the money was returned to the bank, unopened where it was discovered that the total was $100 short. Gailey said he has discussed the problem with the bank and it has not been resolved. He said he plans to picket, "enough for them not to like it." Valley Bank Senior Vice President Brad Baldwin said he is sorry about the misunderstanding and the bank would be "happy to discuss the matter with Mr. Gailey." He said the bank is investigating the matter and they "feel confident" the problem can be resolved. |
