McGURRIN. i : i The subject of the above illustration was born at Grand Rapids, Mich, in 18 61. He received his education edu-cation in the public schools of his native State and later was admitted to the bar of Michigan. Mr. Mc-Gurrin Mc-Gurrin came to Utah in 1 886. He organized and developed the Salt Lake Security and Trust com- pany. which under his able and careful management has grown from year to year until today it has assets of more than a million dollars. Mr McGurrln is one of the charter members of our Commercial club, and has always taken an Active part in promoting- the' best interests of Salt Lake City and the-State of Utah.
