CHINESE CASES ARE POSTPONED 0 Effort Made by Prominent Promi-nent Chinamen to Hush Attack on Mayor. The hearing of the Chinamen. Nora Hlng, Qng Lung . and Yip Sing, who are charged with threatening the person per-son of former Mayor Chin Wan Chang of Chinatown, was postponed until next Saturday morning. The case has been taken up by the' more prominent business Chinamen of the district, and an effort is being made by them to quiet the affair. Chin Wan Chan is said to be willing to drop the case against the three men, but two of the defendant want their troubles trou-bles thrashed out in court. It Is likely that at the arraignment Saturday a motion to dismiss will be made by the defendants' attorney.
