REPORT SHOWS PROFIT. Shareholders of the Swansea mine In the Sliver City end of the Tlntic district dis-trict are receiving by mall the first official of-ficial report of the conditions of the company since June ,1902. The report embodies the- operations from that date to .the end of May of this year, and shows that during this period there has been 9585 tons of ore mined for which there was received $44,-447.71. $44,-447.71. The expense of mining amounts to $26,729.38, leaving a net profit per ton of $1.89. The company has paid two dividends recently of $5000 each, and there was on hand at, the end of May $8419.04, and the management reports that the operations are being confined to the territory above the 750-foot level? the water line, and that there ls being profitably mined the sulphide ore of which there is a considerable tonnage
