Show BIG OUTING IS HELD AT-CALPEB'S-PARK The members of the Fifth, Sixth, Twenty-sixth and Cannon wards Sunday-schools had their annual outing at Calder's park yesterday. About 2000 people were In attendance. attend-ance. During the afternoon cash prizes were won as follows: Forty-yard dash, girls of 11 and 12 years Lucile Glauque, first; Lucile Eardley, second. Forty-yard dash, boys of 11 and 12 years George . Lancelot, first; Lawrence Law-rence Condie, second. Forty-yard dash, girls of 13 and 14 years Ora Simpson, first; Lucile Con-die, Con-die, second. Forty-yard dash, girls of 8 to 11 years Grace Leatham, first; Lizzie Brltton, second. Needle and thread race, girls 14 and 15 years Edith Acomb, first; Irene Condie, second. Needle and thread race, girls 12 and 13 years Teenle Anderson, first; Vera Davis, second. Kindergarten race for girls Marian Martin, first; Mildred Eardley, second. Primary race for boys Jesse Watson, Wat-son, first; Job Condie, second. Peanut race Lewis Wood bum, first; Frank Eardley, second. In the dancing contest the laurels in the prize waltz were taken by Clarence Clar-ence Glauque and Miss Belle Anderson. Ander-son. Mr. Tuckett. and partner took the second prize. Today the Fourth, Seventh and Thirtieth wards will have their outing out-ing at the same resort. - |
