Show jaycees Slate Membership Meeting This evening, Thursday, at the ballroom of Hotel El Escalante a membership party will be held by Junior Chamber of Commerce of Cedar City. The meeting has been called by the board of directors di-rectors in conformance with a new policy of a membership meeting on the second Thursday Thurs-day of each month. At the meeting this evening the principal item of business will be the planning and organization organ-ization of a delegation to attend the state travel trophy meeting to be held at Spanish Fork this Saturday, Mar. 13. It is hoped that a bus load of Jaycees can make the extensive trip in attempting to compile the most man miles to the meeting. Keith Crlpps, chairman of the af-fair, af-fair, will handle the organization. An important item to be discussed dis-cussed and put before the membership mem-bership at the meeting will include in-clude a brief outline of the Echo Park Project, by James Sandberg, a member of the organization. Pros and cons will be debated and possibly some action by the Jaycees will be determined. Other items will include a discussion dis-cussion of the Miss Cedar City contest, and a final report on the voice of Democracy contest Just recently completed by the civic group. |
