Show Utah Civic Clubs Set Date ior Monthly Meeting The Associated Civic Clubs of Southern and Eastern Utah will hold their March meeting at the county courthouse, in St. George on Saturday, Mar. 13, Thomas VV. Jensen, executive secretary, has announced. The newly elected president of the association, Dewey Sanford of Delta, will be in charge of the meeting. Reports will be given by the various standing committees. commit-tees. Among the important reports will be one from the road committee com-mittee headed by Chairman J. Usher Henrie; legislative committee, com-mittee, headed by Paul R. Ash-worth; Ash-worth; water, power and industrial, indus-trial, headed by Warren H. Bulloch, Bul-loch, and the advertising committee com-mittee headed by Gordon W. Clark. The day's activities will conclude con-clude with a banquet at Dick's Cafe sponsored by the civic clubs of St. George. The speaker of the evening will be Curtis P. Harding, Hard-ing, administrator, Utah Department Depart-ment of Security, area vice president, pres-ident, Utah committee on industrial indus-trial and improvement planning. His topic, will be "The Economic Outlook for 1954." |
