Show Third Ward Presents ; Book Of Mormon Drama The Third Ward on Wednesday, Wednes-day, April 7, will present a three- ' act play, "Sign in the Sky," by Mrs. Luacine D. Fox, a well ' known author of Salt Lake City. 1 Mrs. Fox is a daughter of Pres. J. Reuben Clark, and first got her start In script writing while working for KSL where she arranged ar-ranged the program "Miss Anna's Story Time." She arranged Cinderella Into a three-act play which was a huge success and from then on she branched into religious subjects. sub-jects. She has written many other oth-er successful plays although "Sign in the Sky," is one of the most outstanding. The play has a Book of Mormon Mor-mon setting and has both drama and romance. It is an experience experi-ence you won't want to miss, according ac-cording to those in charge, and has been well received throughout through-out the state. Mrs. Gwen Sherratt and Mrs. Beth Halsell are jointly directing the production with Mrs. Britta-nia Britta-nia Durand as music director. The cast Is as follows: Rachel, preparer of food, Mrs. Nora Brown; Joniam, servant in the house, David Brown; Ahana, mistress mis-tress of the houshold, Opal Bauer; Uloa, serving maid to Ahana, De Lila Gillespie; Mathoni, master of the household, Claude Halsell; Shearjasheb, priest of Sun God, Furl Porter; Corom, son of Lach- oncus, Layne Merryweather; ' Thalia, a Nephite maiden, Zina Limb; Zaran, maid in Nephi's house, Sarah Jensen; Nephi, high priest in church of Christ, David Castleton; Esorm, a noble, Elwin Isom. |
