Show ' . n J ' I ..... . . -v j " "ft ? f yJ " i I V r v j ; -.. j TRESSIE LEORA MURRAY Tressie Leora Murray interred in Vernal Tressie Leora Dow Murray, 72, died of natural causes at the home in Lapoint, Utah, Nov. 24, 1980. Born March 20, 1908 in Vernal, she was the daughter of Walter Dwight and Mary Ann Hadlock Dow. She married Andrew Hugh Murray, Feb. 9, 1927 in Vernal. She was a member of the LDS church and former resident of Jensen and Neola. She was a professional quilt maker. Funeral services were held Nov. 28, in the Maeser 2nd Ward chapel. The family prayer was given by Donnell C. Dow. Bishop John H. Smith conducted the funeral service. Dana Dee Smith played the prelude and postlude music. A musical number was given by Enola Montgomery and Kay Hunting, accompanied ac-companied by Marie Hatch. Dean Merkley, a son-in-law, gave the invocation. in-vocation. Remarks were given by Bishop John H. 'Smith. Daun White and Dorothy Peltier sang, "That Wonderful Mother of Mine." Curtis Hadlock then spoke. "God Be With You," was performed per-formed by Mrs. White and Mrs. Peltier accompanied by Melba Eaton. The benediction was by Terry L. Slade. Pallbearers were Lewis Murray, Ronald W. Murray, William R. Murray, Jr., Gary Merkley, Ryan Merkley and Kent King. Dedication of the grave was by Nelson D. Merkley. Interment was in the Vernal Memorial Park Cemetery. The Maeser 2nd Ward Relief Society was in charge of the flowers. |
