Frontier Travel and Tours has added two computer terminals and two printers which hook directly to any 'airline scheduled'm (Keworlcf.' ""' """"" "We can confirm a seat in a matter of seconds," said Don Jorgensen, manager of the travel agency. By typing into the computer the departure date, time and destination the computer will print on the screen all the flights available. Typing in a confirmation confir-mation code will reserve a seat on any of the flights on the screen. By typing all the data into the computer, it will simutaneously print out the needed airline ticket and a legal invoice with departure and destination dates and places. Jorgensen said that many times the computer will print out the tickets while a customer waits. Frontier Travel will have an open house Saturday from 10 am. to 3 p.m. to show how the new system works. There will be free refreshments. |
