Show Hospital attacks unfair Dear Editor: The recent letters 'attacking' Uintah County Hospital are unfair. As educators, with nursing students training in the hospital, we have the responsibility to assess what is happening hap-pening to the learning field. Based on that assessment we wish to express our support for Uintah County Hospital. The hospital staff has performed admirably in weathering the challenge of adjusting to a new facility and to two new physicians at the same time. They are aware that problems exist and are continually striving to solve them. After all, none of us could find a hospital free of problems. We want to express our confidence in the continual progress being made, as well as our appreciation to Uintah County Hospital for welcoming our students into their institution. Our confidence in the hospital as a training institution continues to grow. BETH SWEATFIELD, RN Instructor Practical Nursing JEAN SMITH, RN Director Practical Nursing UBAVC |
