ANSWER: No, the hospital must have an operating room, access to a laboratory for microscopic examination and diagnosis of tissue and x-ray equipment suitable for diagnosis and treatment. It must be staffed by physicians who are trained to make effective use of these facilities. Your physician, local medical society and Amcncan Cancer Society Unit know which hospitals in our area qualify in these respects. FOOTNOTE: Don't forget tonight's (Thursday) big Christmas Festival of Trees at Vernal Junior High.
