Show Board Members Sunday Speakers Guest speakers in Sacrament meeting on Sunday afternoon were E. L. Murphy of Upalco, Grant Peel and Irene Muir of Altamont. Also the following boys gave talks: Drew Goodrich, Larry Lis-onbee, Lis-onbee, Lynn Cook and Phil Mathews. Math-ews. The three visiting speakers also attended Sunday School. They belong to the Moon Lake stake Sunday School board. Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Goodrich Good-rich and Henry Allred spent Sunday Sun-day at Bonanza visiting with relatives. rel-atives. Mr. and Mrs. Russell Robison and family, of Ioka, visited on Sunday here with Mr. and Mrs. Leslie B. Goodrich. Mr. and Mrs. Buddy Bird, of Salt Lake City, brought Mrs. James Bird and Connie home. Mrs. Bird has spent the past week in Salt Lake City with her husband, who underwent a major operation Monday. She reports he is getting along alright and will be able to leave the hospital during the early ear-ly part of the week. Miss Hazel Jenkins is enrolled at Henegar's Business College and Miss Eloyce Atwood is enrolled at the LDS Business College in Salt Lake City. FATHER DIES Mr. and Mrs. Jimmy Bird returned re-turned home on Thursday from Salt Lake City, where they were called to be with Mrs. Bird's father, fath-er, Waldamar Nielson. Mrs. Niel-, son died on Saturday and funeral services and burial were irr Salt Lake City. The community extends ex-tends their deepest sympathy to the family of Mr. Nielson. Mr. and Mrs. Bus Mathews and two children, of Bonanza, spent the weekend here with the Claud Mathews family. On Sunday Bus and family and Mrs. Alice Mathews Math-ews visited with the Joseph Mech-am Mech-am family at Myton. Mrs. Mary Lisonbee is here visiting vis-iting with her son, Lee, and family. fam-ily. Mrs. Lisonbee has been mak ing her home in Roosevelt with Mr. and Mrs. Monte Williams. Mr. and Mrs. Norman Goodrich visited on Sunday afternoon at the M. C. Seeley home. They brought Bud Chase with them. Mr. Chase, with his father, were in Roosevelt and Myton taking pictures. Profits which went to aid in the Polio Drive. |
