Show Ml A Conference MIA conference was held last Tuesday in connection with the "Meet Me At Mutual." Stake vi-itors vi-itors were George Hacking, Floyd Ross, Clarence Liddell and Deatha Olsen, each of whom gave short talks during the assembly period. After class work, games were played under the supervision of Grace Dye. Light refreshments were served at the close of the evening. Mr. and Mrs. Tal Wardle and baby were Salt Lake City visitors last Wednesday and Thursday. Those taking part in the stake Temple excursion from this ward which was held last Friday were: Mr. and Mrs. Lester Gardner, Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Olsen, Nephi Smithson and Jennie Woodward. The past weekend brought more than the usual number of former Neola residents back for a brief visit with home folks. From Provo came Ann and Marilyn Peterson, Garth Horrocks and Carl Smith-son. Smith-son. Wayne " Smithson, of Salt Lake City, also came for a short stay. Friends of D. F. Mitchell are glad to see that he has recovered from his recent illness sufficiently to be able to leave his home for short intervals. Mrs. Norma Crozier and Mrs. Rose Malnar were hostesses at the home of the latter last Wednesday Wednes-day evening for the Explorer basketball bas-ketball team of the MIA. Ice cream, cake and cocoa were served ser-ved after the ball game at Roosevelt Roose-velt to Ferrell and Claude Crozier, Glendon Malnar, Norman and Larry Lar-ry Dye, Keith Davis and their I teacher, Roy Gardner. j i |
