Show Gusher Frances Semken Hold Meeting W. W. Fordham, of Phoenix, Arizona, and "Frank Sutton, pastor pas-tor of the Clearfield Baptist church, held a meeting Tuesday night, Jan. 25, at the Gusher Baptist Bap-tist church. Among those on the sick list during the past week were Mr. and Mrs. Guy Underwood, Mrs. Sylvia Allred and Mrs. Joe Arnold. Arn-old. Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Ainge, of Jensen, visited with Mr. and Mrs. Joe Arnold on Thursday. The W.M.U. of the Roosevelt and Gusher Baptist churches met for their monthly meeting at the home of Elsie Domgaard Tuesday. Mrs. Rose Denver had the misfortune mis-fortune to fall and sprain her ankle quite badly. Visitors during the week at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Glen All-red All-red were Mr. and Mrs. Marley Davies, of Duchesne and Mr. and Mrs. Clyde McDonald of Roosevelt. Roose-velt. Mr. and Mrs. John Adams, of Maeser, and Mr. and Mrs. Bob Hemphill, of Vernal, were Sun- day guests at the home of the Emmett Halles. Mrs. Hemphill is the former Clairene Brandt, of Gusher. George Arnold and Fred Schwo-be Schwo-be attended a meeting of the stockmen and dairymen held at Ft. Duchesne, Friday. Mrs. Freda Markey, Mrs. Rob-ina Rob-ina Ferguson and Mrs. Frances Semken attended the cancer meeting meet-ing held in Vernal, Thursday. Loma Dahlberg and wife were weekend visitors with his mother, Mrs. Vonnie Dahlberg. Mrs. Nathaarlorg was taken to the Roosevelt Hospital Saturday for medical attention. |
