Show Thrilling Game The game with Uintah was really real-ly a thriller. The first five minutes min-utes of the first quarter really showed a defensive game. Uintah made the first two points after a period of five minutes with no score for either team. It was nip and tuck the rest of the first half with the half-time score 15 to 14 for Uintah. The last half the Utes really were shooting hot, and they went ahead. The absence of Dee Farnsworth was a weak point in the starting line-up for Alta-mont. Alta-mont. Dee has been in bed with a bad case of the flu. Mr. and Mrs. Ross Case, of Vernal, were weekend guests at the Floyd Case home. They attended attend-ed the Uintah-Altamont basketball game Friday night. They also visited vis-ited Mr. Case's mother, Mrs. Mary A. Case in Altamont. Mr. and Mrs. Kelly Sprouse and family, of Roosevelt, were Sunday Sun-day visitors at the Floyd Case home. |
