Show Fractures Foot Miss Faye Robinson suffered a fractured foot Friday in Salt Lake City, according to information received re-ceived by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Homer Robinson. However, the young Miss is getting along nicely. Mr. and Mrs. Cliff Giles and family arrived Saturday from Og-den Og-den to spend the weekend with Mr. Giles' parents, Mr. and Mrs. James Giles. They also enjoyed a visit with other members of the Giles family during their short stay. Miss Alice Todd entertained Saturday afternoon at her home. A dessert luncheon was served to Mrs. P. E. Church, Mrs. W. H. Linck, Mrs. Floyd Lamb, Mrs. James Dalgleish, Mrs. Rex Lamb, Mrs. Homer Robinson and Mrs. H. C. Cooper. Bridge was the afternoon's af-ternoon's diversion, with high score prize awarded to Mrs. Floyd Lamb. CORRECTION Apologies to Devere Hancock, and also Center Service. Mr. Hancock Han-cock is driving a new Pontiac station wagon it was erroneously erron-eously reported last week that the station wagon was an Olds-mobile. Olds-mobile. Mrs. Cleone Sproul, of Salt Lake City, spent a day last week with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Homer Robinson. She returned home Wednesday night, accompanied accom-panied by her aunt, Mrs. Wilbur Wall, who has been a visitor at the Robinson home during the past two weeks. Mrs. Wall will enjoy a short visit with other members of the Robinson family in Salt Lake City. Mr. and Mrs. Frank Uresk and family returned last week from a ten-day vacation in Eureka, California, Cal-ifornia, where they were guests at the home of Mrs. Uresk's sister and brother-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Dean Mitchell. While there Frank enjoyed some fishing, returning home with some big fish. Mrs. Lee Felter left last week for Fort Bliss, Texas, where she will spend a few months visiting at the home of her son and daughter-in-law, Lt. Col. and Mrs. Randall Ran-dall Felter. Her two grandsons, James and Bud Felter, accompanied accompan-ied her to Texas, returning home after a brief visit. Mr. and Mrs. J. Wesley Jenson and small daughter, Judy left Saturday Sat-urday morning on a 10-day vacation vaca-tion trip to California. They will visit Mr. Jenson's sister and brother-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Harry Haskell, at Redondo Beach, and his brother, Ralph. They will then go to San Diego for a visit with Mrs. Jenson's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Enoch Lewis, and other members of the Lewis family. During their absence, Mrs. Jack Gingell is caring for the Jenson home and daughters, Linda and Carol, who are attending school. Mr. and Mrs. Russell Gingell and baby spent a few days in Salt Lake City, returning home Saturday. Mr. and Mrs. Holt Wardle and family spent a long weekend in Vernal. They were unhappy when they returned to find the cold nights had caused their water pipes to freeze. However, no difficulty dif-ficulty was experienced, as Mr. Wardle took immediate steps to thaw the pipes. William Robinson came from Salt Lake City, Sunday to spend the day with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Homer Robinson. He was accompanied ac-companied by his aunt, Mrs. Wilbur Wil-bur Wall, who had been visiting in Salt Lake City and returned for a longer visit at the Robinson home before returning to her home in Jamestown, Kansas. Mr. and Mrs. Milton Lott and daughters spent the weekend in Salt Lake City to be with Mrs. Lott's mother, who has been ill for some time. Mr. and Mrs. James Dalgleish were Sundav visitors in Duchesne to spend a few hours with Mrs. Dalgleish's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ed Hart. A group of rabbit hunters from Orem reported excellent hunting on the bench south of Myton, Monday. One member of the hunting hunt-ing party was at one time a resident resi-dent of this district, Barney Fau-sett, Fau-sett, a brother of Wm. Fausett of North Myton Bench. |
