Show Ward Conferences Held On Sunday; New R. S. Officers Sunday School conference was held last Sunday morning, with Ariel Michie, Neill Jensen and Evan Percival representing the stake Sunday School board. Each one spoke briefly during the closing clos-ing exercises. Also visiting the classes were President Hollis G. Hullinger and his counselors, Clifford Clif-ford Drollinger and E. J. Nixon, and Owen F. Burgener, representing represent-ing the high council. Immediately following a brief meeting was held for the ward teachers. Ward conference was held Sun-, day evening with the stake presidency presi-dency and Mr. Burgener in attendance. at-tendance. Bishop Richard Olsen gave a report of the ward's acti-" acti-" vities financially. Other speakers were Presidents Nixon and Drollinger. Drol-linger. Musical numbers consisted of an MIA girls' chorus, under the direction of Phyllis Wardle; a trumpet solo, by Ardell Olsen, accompanied ac-companied by his mother; a vocal solo, by Dorothy Luck. Following conference,, another meeting was called for all ward officers and teachers. President Hollis Hullinger, High Councilman Burgener and Lester Gardner each spoke briefly. The Relief Society presidency was also re-organized during the conference session. Mrs. Phyllis Wardle was sustained as the president, pres-ident, with Norma Crozier and Zola Spencer as counselors, and Barbara Jensen as secretary-treasurer. Released were Mrs. Geneva Whiting, president; Mrs. Amanda Henrie and Mrs. Jennie Woodward, Wood-ward, counselors and Mrs. Eliza Mitchell as secretary-treasurer. HOME BUILDERS HAVE SLEIGHING PARTY Girls of the Home Builder classes class-es entertained their parents at a Snow Frolic last Saturday afternoon. after-noon. The Dye hill was the scene of the thrills and spills, many of which were recorded by the movie mov-ie camera of Mr. and Mrs. Grover Dye. Later in the day, the group returned to the chapel, where chili and cookies helped to ease the pain of the bumps and bruises. bruis-es. Those participating were: Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Olsen and daughter, Jolene; Mr. and Mrs. Grover Dye and daughter, Gloria; Mrs. Laura Dye and Frieda, Mrs. Eva Dye and Ann, Karen Peterson, Peter-son, Joyce Larsen, Linda Peterson, Peter-son, VeLoy Whiting, Arlene Olsen, Erldene Dye, Linda Davis, Carol Brown, Sylvia Malnar, Carma Bur-son. COMMUNITY CLUB MEETS Members of the Community Club and their husbands were entertained en-tertained last Friday by those of the group whose birthdays oc-cured oc-cured during the past four months. A delicious supper was served, after which the evening was spent in playing bingo.
