Show NANCY A. O'NEIL WALL Funeral services were held Wednesday, Wed-nesday, Jan. 26, at 1 p.m. in the Roosevelt stake house, Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints for Mrs. Nancy A. O'Neil Wall, who died Sunday, Jan. 23 at 9:20 a.m. in the Vernal Hospital Hospit-al of complications following an operation. She had been ill for several months. Conducting the services was Clifton N. Memmott, member of the Roosevelt ward bishopric. Mrs. Wall was born in Vernal March 30, 1888, a daughter of William Walter and Susan Matilda Matil-da Ross O'Neil. She married Lewis Lew-is Wall Aug. 7, 1905 in Vernal, where they lived several years before moving to Altonah in the early twenties." Approximately 8 years ago Mrs. Wall, and her husband hus-band moved to Roosevelt where they were living at the time of her recent illness. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Latter-day Saints. Surviving in addition to her husband are 12 sons and daughters: daugh-ters: Lewis LaVerl, Cody, Wyo.; Mrs. Horace (Nancy Isabell) Workman, Work-man, Mrs. Ray D. (Ethel) Peterson, Peter-son, Mrs. George (Stella) Ray, Mrs. Neil (Flora) Nielson, Mrs. R. G. (Alice) Hardy, Wallace and Bert - J. Wall, all of Salt Lake City; Mrs. Lloyd (Fern Larsen, Mrs. Melvin (Marjorie) Larsen, Roosevelt; Mrs. Bert (Anna) Haynes, Tooele; Mrs. Wayne (Ora) Fredrickson, Donner's Pass, Calif.; 35 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren; a brother, John W. O'Neil, Calif.; and two sisters, Mrs. Agnes Cato, Wilmington, Calif, and Mrs. Anna Gunnerson, Salt Lake City. Speakers at the services were Bishop William B. Wallis of Vernal, Ver-nal, Rollin Buchanan and Mr. Memmott. Vocal solos were sung by Mrs. Erma Anderton, Earl Gardner and Mrs. Ruth Beardall. Prayers were offered by James E. Bacon, Dr. R. V. Larson and J. Harold Eldredge, and the grave was dedicated by Bishop John Swenson. Burial was in the Roosevelt Cemetery under the direction of the Olpin Mortuary. |
