Show Our Boys h The Service It f f. ' fx.' .. . - . ' I SGT. ROBERT E. SANDS MYTON Sgt. Robert E. Sands, now serving in the 578th Signal Corps (construction) at Ft. George G. Meade, Maryland, writes his mother, Mrs. Iola Sands, that he is scheduled to receive his honorable honor-able discharge on March 3rd. He entered the service of his country at Ft. Ord, Calif. March 3, 1953 and was transferred to San Luis Obispo, where he received re-ceived his basic training. He was later stationed at Ft. Belvoir, Va. Bob recently received his promotion promo-tion to the rank of Sergeant. He graduated from the Roosevelt Roose-velt High School before entering the service. His father, Charles Sands, and his mother, both of Myton, are anxiously awaiting the date of his discharge and his arrival ar-rival home. |
