Clifford Bigelow, of Thermop-olis, Thermop-olis, Wyoming, returned home after af-ter spending 3 months with his sister, Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Cochran and family. Fred Neumeyer attended a REA meeting at Altamont, Monday. Mr. and Mrs. Albert Norton, of Vernal, visited Mr. Norton's mother, Mrs. Sarah Norton, Friday. Fri-day. Mr. and Mrs. Buddy Coldwell were in Vernal Thursday. Buddy is taking care of his father's place while he is vacationing in Oregon, visiting his mother, Marie Caldwell. Cald-well. Tom Burton, of Ballard, was a visitor of his mother, Mrs. Delia Burton, Wednesday. Mr. and Mrs. Merrill Rasmus-sen Rasmus-sen are grandparents of a baby girl, born January 15 to Mr. and Mrs. Dennis Harvey, of Layton. Gordon Labrum, of Los Angeles, An-geles, Calif., and Mr. and Mrs. Roy Labrum, of Draper, accompanied accom-panied their father, Jess Labrum, home from Salt Lake City, vhere he has ben staying with his son, Roy Labrum. He came from . the LDS Hospital last week. Roy Warburton spent last week end with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Warburton and family, of Little Water. Mrs. Sarah Hackford is rejoicing rejoic-ing over a new grandson, born to Mr. and Mrs. Paul LaBaron at the Roosevelt Hospital, Jan. 12. Thurmer Rasmussen returned home from Denver, Wednesday, where he took his steers to market. mar-ket. Larry Bigelow left Tuesday by bus for Amarillo, Texas, where he will attend the Aircraft Mechanic Me-chanic Tech. School for nine months. Mrs. Mae Sprouse and daughter, daugh-ter, Mrs. Thelma Winn, went to Salt Lake Friday morning to be with Mrs. Sprouse's son, Ray, who underwent an operation at the St. Mark's Hospital. Mr. and Mrs. Jeremiah Harrison Harris-on are rejoicing over a new grandson, grand-son, born to Mr. and Mrs. Murray Mur-ray Harrison, Jan. 18 at Salt Lake. Mrs. Harrison left Friday morning morn-ing by bus to care for their home. Mr. Harrison is also ill with the mumps. Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Workman and family, of Myton, were Sunday Sun-day visitors of Mrs. Workman's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Jenkins. Jen-kins. Jerry Harrison and Mrs. Mable Jenkins received word that their brother, Russell Harrison, of Salt Lake City, is very ill at the LDS Hospital. SUNSHINE CLUB The Sunshine Club held their birthday party in honor of Mrs. Jessie Neumeyer at the Eliba Niel-son Niel-son home Friday. A program was given. Mrs. Vera Bigelow received word that her daughter, Helen Bigelow, who is in the LDS Hospital Hos-pital in Salt Lake City with polio, can walk a little. Lawrence Caldwell returned home Saturday from Portland, Oregon, where he visited his mother, Mrs. Marie Caldwell. Mr. and Mrs. Rile Blackburn are great-grandparents of a baby girl, born Jan. 15 to Mr. and Mrs. Dennis Harvey, of Layton. The' Special Interest class spent Friday evening at the ward chapel chap-el square dancing. Refreshments were served to 32 guests. |
