Show P.IONTWELL By Betlie Mower DINNER GUESTS Mr. and Mrs. Frank Thompson entertained at a turkey dinner on Friday evening for the following guests: Bishop and Mrs. James E. Hamblin, Mr. and Ms. Edward Hullinger, Mr. and Mrs. James E. Larsen, Mr. and Mrs. James L. Powell, Mr. and Mrs. Douglas Brown, Mr. and Mrs. Earl Roberts and Mr. and Mrs. Kay Thompson. Speakers at Sacrament meeting Sunday evening were Colleen Blanchard, Myra Mitchell, Howard Crapo. Melvin Parry and Marion Bowman. Heard also was a duet by Leta Woodward and Nila Draper, Dra-per, accompanied by Karen Woodward. Wood-ward. Sharon Keel also played an accordian solo. Mr. and Mrs. John Keele and son and daughter, and Mr. and Mrs. Marion Bowman and family were Montwel visitors Sunday evening. A dance to raise polio funds was held at Montwel Saturday evening. Reese Timothy's orchestra orches-tra furnished the music. Punch and hot dogs were sold. Wayne Brown made a trip to Ogden on business this week. Those from here attending the P-TA at Neola Monday night were Mr. and Mrs. Max Nelson, Mr. Cecil Boren, Mr. and Mrs. Louis Loranger and Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Mel-vin Mower. Montwel fans went to Roosevelt Roose-velt to watch the game between Montwel and Neola, Wednesday night. Neola won 29-21. Leadership meeting was attended attend-ed from Montwel by Mr. and Mrs. James Powell, Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Mower, Dick Mower, Melvin Mel-vin Parry, James Larsen, Cecil Boren and Mr. and Mrs. Lee Blanchard. Carol Brown attended a skating party at Neola, Saturday afternoon after-noon given by the Primary. |
