Show Kiwanis To Honor Eagle Scouts At Regular Lleet The Roosevelt Scout District is joining the world in honoring the Scout program during the week of Feb. 5 to 17, James Bacon, chairman of the Roosevelt District Dis-trict committee, announced today. The activities get under way when the Kiwanis Club entertains all of the Eagle Scouts of the Basin Bas-in at their regular meeting, Wednesday, Wed-nesday, Feb. 2. Ted Harmston,. Cub committee chairman, is making mak-ing arrangements for the program and Rulon Skinner, Scout Execu-. tive, will be the speaker. On Saturday, Feb. 4, most of. the Cub Packs, Guide Patrols, Scout Troops and Explorer Posts will put displays of Scouting activities ac-tivities in store windows, Mr. Bacon continued. All Scouts who have uniforms are asked to wear the uniform to school and church activities during dur-ing the week. All churches will have a program pro-gram centered around Scouting, between Feb. 3 and 13, and a Court of Honor will be held Sunday, Sun-day, Feb. 6, 'at 3:00 p.m. at the Roosevelt stake house. |
