Show Farmington issues 14 building permits By KATHRYN JENNINGS FARMINGTON Walter K. Clock. Farmington Building and Zoning official has reported the activity of that department for the month of August. There were 14 permits issued for single family detached units, at a valuation of $1,378,731 and for the year to date, there were 32 units with a valuation of $3,333,059. In the residential additions and alterations for August, there was one permit issued for basement finishing, at a valuation of $15,306; there was one permit issued for carports and garages with a valuation of $2,400; one permit for room addition or remodel with a $200 valuation. Others in this category, one with valuation of $576, showing a total for the month of August, four permits issued and a valuation of $18,482. The total for the year to date, in residential additions and alterations showed seven permits issued with a valuation of $67,139. For the total non-residential additions and alterations, eighteen eight-een were issued with a valuation of $1,397,213 and for the year to date, 39 permits issued and a valuation of $3,400,198. The permits, inspections and collections for August were 18 permits issued and 215 inspections. There are two excavation permits and one miscellaneous permit for the year, to date. A total of 18 permits were issued for the month and 42 permits for the year; 215 inspections for August and 458 inspections for the year to date. Water connection fees for August totaled $13,850 and for the year to date, $36, 750. Sewer connection fees collected for August were $13,300 and $27,400 for the year to date. Fire protection fees for August, totaled $2,800 and $6,400 for the year; parks improvement fees collected for the month, $400 with $1,000 collected for the year. The total fees collected for August were $39,967.67 and the total collected for the year, to date $94,785.14. kj |
