Show LDS Missionaries mMML f Jill - I f "' i ELDER MOORE Bryce Moore, son of Mason and Trudy Moore has accepted a mission mis-sion call to Akron, Ohio. I His farewell will be Sept. 14 at 10:50 a.m. at Val Verda 2nd Ward, Val Verda Stake Center, 2651 S. 500 W. Bryce is a Woods Cross High graduate currently attending the University of Utah. Bryce enters the MTC on Sept. 24. ELDER WILKINSON Doug Wilkinson, son of Larry and Lucille Wilkinson, has accepted a call to serve in the Ireland, Ire-land, Dublin Mission. He will enter the MTC on Sept. 17. His farewell will be held Sept. 14 at 1 :35 p.m. in the Woods Cross 5th Ward, 2064 S. 800 W. Friends and relatives are invited to visit at his home, 2244 Sorrento Dr., following the meeting. Doug is a 1985 graduate of Woods Cross High. MARK E. JOHNSON Earns Eagle Mark E. Johnson, 14 year old son of Byron J. and Sharyl Johnson, John-son, received his Eagle Scout Award at a campfire Court of Honor Hon-or held Aug. 26 at Mueller Park. Mark is a member of Troop 580, has served many leadership positions posi-tions and is currently senior patrol leader. His Eagle project was on behalf of the psychiatric unit at Lakeview Hospital . He organized a fund raising rais-ing project, then he and fellow troop members collected and purchased pur-chased exercise equipment, board games, books, magazines, and other materials needed for use by the patients. Mark then finished a bookcase and presented it, the books, the exercise ex-ercise equipment, and other materials mate-rials to Lakeview Hospital. Mark would like to thank his Scout leaders and express his appreciation to Scoutmaster Robert E. Joffs. |
