Show Named to school board Davis County." Two men and two women applied ap-plied to fill this vacancy in Precinct Five, dmg FARMINGTON Linda Whip-pe, Whip-pe, a resident of Sunset who calls herself a homemaker and a concerned con-cerned parent, was appointed to the Davis County Board of Education Educa-tion last Tuesday evening. She will serve out the remaining four months of the term of office vacated va-cated by Bruce Parry who resigned from the Board to assume a teaching position at Clearfield High School. Mrs. Whipple and her husband. Bill, have lived in Davis County since 198 1 . Her two children attend Sunset Elementary School. Since she first moved into Davis County, Mrs. Whipple has been an active volunteer and supporter of the school system. She served as the PTA first Vice President at Sunset Elementary and as the Safety and Welfare Commissioner for the Davis North Elementary Council. Currently, she is president of the Davis North Elementary Council. Mrs. Whipple states, "The four remaining months of this year will demand someone who cares enough to spend the time at meetings meet-ings and participate in decisions being made. ..I can promise to continue con-tinue doing whatever I can for the better education of all children in |
