Show John V. Poulk I V John Vernon Poulk, 70, died Sept. 7, 1986 in Bountiful, of complications com-plications following surgery. He was born Jan 15, 1916 in Carmen, Car-men, Okla., to William H. and Ida Davis Poulk. Married Dorothy Neves June 12, 1955, in Burlington, Burling-ton, Wyo. He was employed by E.C. Smith construction; a member of the Farmington Lion's club, serving as secretary for many years, and was a past Commander of the American Legion Post 27. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II, and has lived in Farmington for the past 26 years. Surviving are his wife of Farmington; Farm-ington; one daughter Katharine M. Haworth, Ogden; two brothers and two sisters: R. Kieth Poulk, San Antonio, Tex.; Atman D. Poulk, Owensboro, Kentucky; Vivian Barnhart, Orlando. Fla.; Rogene Lyle, Boulder City, Nev. Funeral services will be held Thursday, Sept. 11, at noon at the Farmington Rock Chapel, 272 N. Main Street. Friends may call one hour prior to the service. Interment JOHN VERNON POULK will be in the Farmington City Cemetery, under the direction of Lindquist's Bountiful Mortuary. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests sug-gests donations be made to the American Cancer Society. |
