His farewell will be held Sept. 14 at 11 a.m. in the Rowland Way Chapel in Centerville. He will report at the MTC on Sept. 24. ELDER CULLIMORE Elder Randy Cullimore has returned re-turned home from serving in the Madrid, Spain Mission. He will report his mission in the Centerville 9th Ward Sacrament meeting at 1 1 a.m. Sept. 14 at 1460 N. Main Street, Centerville. Randy is a 1984 graduate of Viewmont High School. He is the son of Kent and Donna Cullimore of Centerville. ELDER REID Steven James Reid, son of Mr. and Mrs. Keith Keid and the late Mrs. Lela H. Reid, has accepted a call to serve as a missionary for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the England, Leeds Mission for two years. Steve is a 1985 graduate of Viewmont View-mont High School. His farewell w ill be held Sunday, Sept. Mat 10: 15. i. m. at the Bountiful Bounti-ful 54th Ward, 540 North 1200 East, Bountiful. ' An open houst for Ward members, mem-bers, friends and relatives will be held on Saturday, Sept. 13 from 6-8 p.m. at 487 N. 1200 E., Bountiful. He will enter the Missionary Training Center in Provo on Wednesday, Sept. 17. CLEON AND BETTY TUCKER Cleon and Betty Tucker returned re-turned Sept. 5 from their service in the Philippine Manila Mission where they served for seven months as counselors to President Kjar. They will report on their mission Sunday, Sept. 14 at 2:45 p.m. in the Bountiful 41st Ward. ELDER WHEADON Elder Bret Wheadon has accepted a call to serve in the New Mexico, Albuquerque Mission. He enters the MTC Oct. 8. His farewell will be Sept. 14 at 8:30 a.m. at the Centerville, 2nd Ward, 1455 N. Main. An open house will be held from 12 to 2 p.m. at his home, 276 E. 1400 N. Friends and relatives are invited to attend. ELDER KIRTON David A. Kirton has accepted a call to serve in the Australia Brisbane Bris-bane Mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints under the direction of Pres. Robert West. David will enter the MTC on Sept. 24. A farewell in his honor will be held at 9 a.m., Sept. 14 at the West Bountiful 2nd Ward, 858 N. 800 W. An open house will be held from 3-6 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 13 at the family home, 968 N. 800 W., West Bountiful. David is the son of Joseph and Dorothy J. Kirton. Smedley has accepted a call to serve in the California Cali-fornia Fresno Mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Latter-day Saints. ELDER CHAMBERLAIN Elder Darrel Chamberlain, son of David and Janeen Chamberlain, has accepted a call to serve in the Colorado, Denver mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Latter-day Saints. ELDER HARMER Christopher L. Harmer, son of Mr. and Mrs. John Harmer of Bountiful, has resigned from the U.S. Naval Academy at Annapolis, Annapo-lis, Maryland, to accept a mission call to the Germany, Hamburg Mission. His farewell will be held Sunday, Sept. 14 at noon in the Orchard 6th Ward, 3599 S. Orchard Drive. Chris, a graduate of Woods Cross High School, where he was a member of the football and wrestling wrest-ling teams, served in the U.S. Marines before attending the USNA. He will enter the MTC on Oct. I. ELDER HESS Elder Michael D. Hess, son of Kenneth and Lona Hess has accepted a call to serve in the Korea, Seoul Mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Latter-day Saints. He will enter the MTC on Sept. 17. His farewell will be held on Sunday, Sun-day, Sept. 14 at 8:30 a.m. in the Centerville 2nd Ward, 1461 N. Main Street, Centerville. WHITE Recently called as missionaries for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the Switzerland Switzer-land Zurich Mission are Helen C. and John L. White, Sr., with a departure de-parture date of Oct. I . Prior to entering the Missionary Training Center in Provo, the Whites will speak at Sacrament Meeting in the Bountiful 20th Ward, 102 E. 1400 S., Bountiful, Sept. 14 at 12:50 p.m. An open house will be held by the White family, immediately following the meeting at the Carolyn W. and Mark Zaugg residence, 37 W. 1400 S., Bountiful. Helen has served in the presidencies pres-idencies and as a teacher in ward and stake auxilaries throughout her church life. John was the first bishop of the Bountiful 20th Ward, has served as a high councilman in the Rose Park and Bountiful South Stakes, as well as holding other priesthood and auxiliary positions. ELDER PHILLIPS Elder Jeffrey L. Phillips has accepted a call to serve a mission for the LDS Church in the South Korea, Tae Chon Mission. Jeff is the son of Dave and Myrna Phillips. Phil-lips. He has attended Brigham Young University Univer-sity this past year, majoring in business busi-ness management, and has been employed by P&K Properties this summer. ELDER FORD Elder Brent D. Ford has accepted a call to serve in the Phoenix, Arizona Mission. He enters en-ters the MTC Sept. 17. Brent is the son of Keith and GaNene Ford. He graduated from Bountiful High and Bountiful Seminary. This past year he has been attending Dixie College. Brent's farewell will be held Sept. 14 at 2:45 p.m. in the Bountiful Bounti-ful 25th Ward at 1500 S. 600 E. Following the meeting friends, relatives and neighbors are invited to an open house at his home. CHRISTINA JOYCE DYER On Sept. 10 Christina Joyce Dyer will be returning from Pra-guay, Pra-guay, South America where she served a mission for the LDS Church. An open house will be held in her ' honor Saturday, Sept. 13 from 7-9 p.m. at her home, 1237 E. Cassidy Circle, Bountiful. Her homecoming speech will be given in the 52nd Ward, 1 800 Mueller Muel-ler Park Road, Bountiful at 12:45 p.m. on Sept. 14. |
