Show Parker-Bird wed Shelly Lynn Parker and Warren David Bird were married Sept. 6 at Log Haven up Millcreek Canyon by Bishop Wallace Page. Parents of the bride are Ron and Madge Parker of 1869 S. Arlington Way, Bountiful. Parents of the groom are Kenneth and Gloria Bird of Albany, Ore. The couple was honored at a reception re-ception following the ceremony at Log Haven. The bride wore a cathedral length train, the gown worn off the shoulders with ruffles across shoulders and down train, embroidered embroi-dered flowers with pearls. She carried car-ried a bouquet of white orchids and white roses and ivy and baby breath. Matron of honor was Allison Riddle with Roni Parker as maid of honor. They wore light blue taffeta dresses with light ruffles across shoulders, tea length. They carried light blue and baby pink flowers with ivy and baby breath. The mothers wore royal blue gowns. Their flowers were white orchids with ivy and light blue little flowers. Bart Hugg performed best man duties with Ron Reimers and Bruce Riddle as ushers. The bride graduated from Bountiful Boun-tiful High and has a degree in busi- MR. AND MRS. WARREN DAVID BIRD ness administration and marketing from USU. She is employed with the Marriott Corporation. The groom is a graduate of Roy High and has a degree in sociology at USU. He will begin work on his master's degree this fall at the University Uni-versity of Utah. He is employed as director of residential facility with the SLC School District. |
