Show Davis High Dartboard By SONYA SILL Welcome once again to the Dart-board, Dart-board, where we take an inside look at what's happening at Davis. Sadie Hawkins, traditionally held in the spring, has been temporarily tem-porarily changed to Valentine's Day. Why the sudden change? The dance has been changed due to many factors, the biggest deals with the Junior Prom. The Junior Committee, unable to schedule the Prom in April, had to move the Prom up to March, Uh-Oh! Sadie's is in March, but thanks to the sponsors, spon-sors, FHA officers, they graciously gracious-ly agreed to a Valentine's Dance. Who knows, maybe this will be the start of a new tradition? This year's royalty consists of seniors, Heather Tennant, Brian Allen; Juniors, Jody Randolph, Joel Robbins; Sophomores, Emily Timothy and Jim Steele. The theme song, which is traditionally tradi-tionally country, is "After Awhile," by Amy Grant. The dance will be from 8:30 p.m. to 1 1 : 30 p . m . with ticket costs at $6 a couple. It isn't too late to grab a date girls. This should be a fun dance to attend. One you won't want to miss!! On Feb. 4, The Silhouettes, an ensemble, performed at Woods Cross in a regional concert. Congratulations Con-gratulations to all of those who participated. par-ticipated. Feb. 6, after the WX game, D-Book D-Book and Dart Staff sponsored a stomp put on by K-96. Those guys are crazy, but everyone had a super su-per fun time. Don't forget to cheer on the D'E-tte D'E-tte performance at half time! They have a North End Regional Drill Competition on Wednesday at 8 p.m. at WX. Come support them, they need our spirit to back them up. Good luck gals. Basketball, you know dribbling, shooting, etc? These guys are really real-ly fantastic. Last Tuesday they suffered suf-fered a loss to Bountiful, but we all lose one once in a while. Better now than at state. Friday they played play-ed an awesome game against WX. |
