Show MR. AND MRS. GREGORY EVAN RENSTROM Wed In Temple Melanie Ann Christiansen and Gregory Evan Renstrom were married Aug. 25 in the Salt Lake Temple by Edward Evan Morgan, grandfather. THE BRIDE is the daughter of Richard and Marcia Christiansen Christ-iansen of 477 E. 550 S., Center-ville. Center-ville. The groom is the son of Keith and Jodi Renstrom of Orem. The couple was honored at a wedding breakfast at the Hilton Hil-ton Hotel and a reception at the Centerville 3rd Ward. A SOUTHERN Belle motif was carried out with the bride dressed in a bouffant lace trimmed trim-med gown of sheer ninon. There were lace tiers on the full skirt and the train with a lace medallion at the neckline. She wore a picture hat of similar material. Her bouquet of silk flowers in pink, dusty rose and burgundy were arranged on a fan with lace and ribbon streamers. MARY ANN Christiansen was maid of honor with Lalli Dymock, Julie Renstrom, Janet Hirschi, Launa Renstrom Ren-strom and Leslie Renstrom as bridesmaids. They were dressed dres-sed in burgundy Southern belle frocks of crepe de chine. They had sheer yokes of organza with a deep ruffle. There was a matching ruffle on the skirts. An old fashioned hoop further enhanced the effect. They carried car-ried lace parasols trimmed with burgundy, dusty rose colored col-ored flowers, and pink ribbons. rib-bons. THE MOTHERS wore floor length dresses similar in style, in dusty rose soft satin with lace yokes. Their corsages were silk flowers in the same shades as the brides. Dave Bromley and Leon Berrett performed best man duties. Steve Christiansen, John Renstrom, Collin Christiansen Christ-iansen and Mike Renstrom were ushers. AN ENGAGEMENT shower was by given by Leila White, Becky Workman, and Brenda McMillan. Showers were given by Mahon Smith, Lalli Dymock, Janet Hirschi, Diane Cox, Jean and Suzanne Gadd, Jodi, Launa, Leslie and Julie Renstrom. The bride has attended Viewmont High and BYU. The groom attended Orem ' High, Ricks College and BYU. He filled an LDS Ventura, Calif, mission. AFTER A honeymoon in the Uintas, they are making their home in Orem. |
