" i f , M i ." t - -v , -. v - y --.pt ' I .if " Cliff De Young 'Master of the Game' "Master of the Game," the popular Sidney Sheldon novel, will become a nine-hour nine-hour CBS miniseries for broadcast late this season. Dyan Cannon, Ian Charle-son, Charle-son, Harry Hamlin and Cliff DeYoung will star in the production, which began shooting last month. After completion of filming in New York, locations in Paris, London, Nice and Kenya will be utilized. Miss Cannon portrays Kate Blackwell, the head of a powerful corporate empire. Charleson, best known from his role as the Scottish runner in "Chariots . of Fire," plays Kate's father and patriarch of the family's tremendous fortune. Hamlin is Kate's son, Tony, who doesn't agree with the policies of his domineering domi-neering mother. DeYoung is Brad Rogers, the Blackwell rfjnjv's closest, confidante. i ; '9 to 5' addition Leah Ayres has replaced Valerie Curtin, joining Rachel Dennison and Rita Moreno as the three crazy secretaries on "9 to 5" as the ABC sitcom goes into its second year. Miss Ayres, who appeared on "Love of Life" and "The Edge of Night," will portray Linda Bowman on the Thursday night series. She left Tufts University in 1975 to complete her dance studies stud-ies at New York University. This led to filming many commercial spots. She was then spotted by Bob Fosse and he cast her in his movie "All That Jazz."
