Show Women's Missionary Society Plans Activities At First Baptist Church The Women's Missionary Society of the First Baptist Church, 1916 S. Orchard Drive, invite all interested women of the community to participate in their activities. THE PURPOSES of the organization are to help women grow in their Christian experience, to help them be aware of the needs of others and to provide opportunities for social contact with other Christian women. f f , , ' 5 t i I: s; 3 ? t I 1 4 I ( I ELDER ROBERTS Bret Roberts, son of Gene and Merlyn Roberts, has accepted a call to serve in the Santiago North Chile mission. He will enter the MTC on Oct. 13. HIS FAREWELL will be Oct. 9 at 10:50 a.m. at the Centerville Cen-terville 5th Ward, 270 N. 300 E., Centerville. Friends and family are invited to an open house at the Roberts' home following the meeting. Bret is a graduate of Viewmont View-mont High School where he participated in football and track. This past year he has attended the University of Utah. Meetings are held regularly each Thursday afternoon, and one evening each month. THE GROUP would like to thank all of the volunteers and the community for their support sup-port in a recent auction and garage sale held to raise money to re-surface the church parking park-ing lot. And on Saturay, Nov. 5 they will hold their annual Christmas luncheon and beautique. The community is invited to attend this also. First Baptist Church is affiliated affili-ated with American Baptist Churches, USA. and accepts Christians and all denominational denomina-tional backgrounds into full membership.
