Show 'Computers In The School And Home' Series Continues "Computers in the School . and Home: A Vital Linkage" w ill be the second presentation of an eight part series "Parenting "Parent-ing in the 80's." The program will take pace Oct. 5, at the Farmington Jr. High School, 160 S. 200 W.. Farmington. It will begin at 7:30 p.m. THE SERIES has been jointly joint-ly planned by the Davis School District's Parent Education Resource Center and the Region Re-gion III PTA. Individual presentations pre-sentations of the series will spotlight a particular area of interest to parents, with speakers speak-ers who are knowledgeable in a wide variety of fields pertinent to the family. The main focus of the series is to help children reach their optimum potential both in the academic and social areas as well as strengthening family relationships. DURING THE Oct. 5 meeting, meet-ing, William Hansen, math and science supervisor of the Davis District and Bernell Loveridge, Energy coordinator coordina-tor for the district, will address how the micro-computer can support the educational pre-cess pre-cess of children. They will discuss dis-cuss how computers are used in the school and the wise use in home as well as factors to consider in the purchasing of one for home use. Both gentlemen gentle-men are involved in the district's dis-trict's school computer program prog-ram and are knowledgeable in the field. ine There will be a $2 per person or $3 per couple fee.
