Show Larry C. Chcckctts Rites Set For Wed. Larry Clyde Checketts 31, died Oct. 1, 1983 in Salt Lake City, Utah. He was born Sept. 9, 1952 in Pasco, Wash., son of Clyde A. and Edith Jones Checketts. He married Elizabeth Eli-zabeth Anne (Lisa) Beal, March 15, 1974 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. HE WAS A Salt Lake City Police Officer for eight years. He worked as a patrolman for three years and a special investigations inves-tigations detective for five years, most recently serving on the Metro Narcotics Strike Force. He was trusted and loved by all who worked with him. He was a member of the LDS Church holding various positions. He served a LDS mission to the Uraguay-Paraguay Uraguay-Paraguay Mission from 1971-1973 1971-1973 where he served as assistant assis-tant to the president. He attended the University of Utah and he graduated from Weber State College 1978 in Police Science. HE IS survived by his wife, three sons, one daughter, Samuel, Adam, John, Alyson, parents of Bountiful; sisters, Mrs. James (Judy) Hatch, Hvanston, Wyo.; Mrs. Stanford Stan-ford K. (Janis) Madsen, Gilbert, Gil-bert, Ariz; brothers, David W. Checketts, Bountiful; Daniel I ( - ' : S v- ha. LARRY CLYDE CHECKETTS S. Checketts, Provo, grandmother grand-mother Ethel M. Jones, Logan. Funeral services will be held Wednesday 12 noon in the Centerville South Stake Center Cen-ter 270 North 300 East. Friends may call Wednesday at the church one hour prior to services.
